The Billing Manager will be responsible for managing the revenue cycle process, supervising billing staff, ensuring accurate insurance claim submission, and payment posting. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and knowledgeable in medical billing procedures, insurance verification, claims management, and healthcare reimbursement processes. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the insurance verification, medical billing and revenue cycle process Manage claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and collections Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims and unpaid balances Ensure accurate coding and billing practices in compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements Work closely with providers, front office staff, and administration to resolve billing issues Prepare billing reports, aging reports, and productivity metrics for management review Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and revenue collection processes Assist with audits and insurance inquiries as necessary Conduct and maintain credentialing for all providers and mid-levels ensuring all processes follow state, federal and Joint Commission standards Manages the accurate verification of licenses, board certifications, DEA, and continuing education for new and existing providers Ensures Payer Enrollment and Reappointment for all providers, managing re-credentialing to ensure seamless reimbursement Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of credentialing and medical billing experience A bachelor's degree in healthcare or business and specialized knowledge of Joint Commission standards Strong leadership, auditing, organizational, and communication skills, with
AAPC CPC
certifications highly preferred Strong understanding of insurance claims, EOBs, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and reimbursement processes Experience with EMR and medical billing software, eClinicalworks preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially
