Full-time (In-person) About the Role Texas Vision & Laser Center is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Biller/Coder to join our fast-paced and growing ophthalmology practice. About Us We provide world-class ophthalmology care with clinic locations in Frisco and McKinney, as well as an ambulatory surgery center in McKinney. Our rapid growth means we are seeking motivated professionals excited to grow with us. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail — accuracy is essential. Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills. Dependable, efficient, and able to thrive in a high-energy environment. Minimum 12 months of medical billing/coding experience. CPC or CCS certification recommended. Experience with Nextech EHR or similar systems preferred. Ophthalmology experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities Accurately code and post clinic charges using ICD-10 and other standards. Review medical chart documentation to ensure coding specificity and accuracy. Post insurance and patient payments promptly and accurately. Communicate with team members to resolve billing discrepancies. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. Authorize and verify benefits Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce claim denials. Work, analyze, and resolve insurance denials to improve reimbursement outcomes.
