In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining accurate and comprehensive bills of materials that support efficient medical billing and revenue cycle management. Your expertise will ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations, streamline hospital revenue processes, and facilitate seamless interactions with insurance providers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health of healthcare organizations by optimizing billing workflows and ensuring adherence to industry standards. Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed Business Office Manager (BOMs) that accurately reflect medical procedures, supplies, and coding requirements for billing purposes Collaborate with clinical staff, coding specialists, and billing teams to ensure all components of the BOM align with patient records and medical documentation Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and other health insurance regulations during BOM creation and updates Utilize billing software and electronic health records PCC management systems to input, update, and verify billing data Monitor hospital revenue cycle management processes to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies related to BOMs and recommend improvements Stay current with medical coding standards , medical billing regulations, and third-party insurance requirements to ensure accuracy Manage team workflows related to BOM creation and maintenance, providing guidance and oversight as needed Requirements Proven experience in healthcare billing management, skilled nursing revenue cycle management, or related fields Strong knowledge of medical billing regulations compliance, Medicare regulations, Medicaid regulations, and insurance third-party billing processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word for data analysis and documentation Experience with billing software platforms used in healthcare settings Familiarity with electronic health records PCC management systems Ability to interpret complex healthcare policies and ensure adherence across all billing activities Excellent team management skills with the ability to coordinate tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment Join us in transforming healthcare financial operations by ensuring precise billing practices that support quality patient care.
