You will be responsible for managing the dental billing and insurance process to ensure accurate claims, timely reimbursements, and efficient revenue cycle operations. Key duties include verifying patient insurance information, preparing and submitting dental claims, following up on unpaid or denied claims, posting payments, and maintaining accurate patient billing records. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of dental coding and insurance procedures, and effective communication with patients, providers, and insurance companies. By ensuring precise billing practices and resolving reimbursement issues promptly, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial health of the practice and contributing to a positive patient care experience. The ideal candidate would have at least 1 year of dental office experience and exceptional customer service ability. As part of the front office team, you may also help support reception with greeting patients, answering the phone and e-mail communication, checking patients in and out, collecting payments and billing, scheduling, and presenting patients with financial arrangements. practice management software is preferred, but not required.
