This role serves as a liaison between the department and the students and all 3rd party vendors.
Work Location:
Virginia Beach, VA Essential duties: Process student payments, collect money due and record to student accounts. Handle student account inquiries, provide customer service for student and other related inquiries Process and record accounts receivable payments Balance daily cash transactions and prepare bank deposits Verify and process interdepartmental deposits from all auxiliary units, cost centers and departments Maintain petty cash and change funds as assigned, verifying daily Maintain accounts receivable billing, returned checks, and installment payment files Process student tuition refund requests Serve as back-up for all 3rd party invoicing Perform collection account review and assist with collection placement with outside agencies Audit petty cash and change funds assigned to other university offices Reconcile various deposit accounts to General Ledger as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of high school diploma.
