Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Billing Analyst to join our team in Redmond, Washington. In this role, you will take full charge of accounts receivable processes, managing billing operations for multiple revenue streams and ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This is a contract position within the hospitality industry, offering an opportunity to work with diverse clients and contribute to financial excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process billing for various business lines, including catering, event management, and audio-visual services.
- Maintain and update the billing system to ensure all invoices are generated and sent out promptly.
- Follow up on outstanding payments, allocate received funds, and reconcile accounts.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and customer queries with professionalism.
- Generate and review accounts receivable aging reports to monitor outstanding balances.
- Process credit card payments and handle adjustments as needed.
- Develop recovery systems and initiate collection efforts to ensure timely payments.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciling sales and preparing metrics.
- Act as the subject matter expert on accounts receivable processes for both internal and external billing systems.
- Identify errors within billing systems and invoices, providing insights through metrics and reporting. Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience managing full charge accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues across various levels.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to new processes, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Familiarity with operational aspects of conference planning, audio-visual services, and catering.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate issues quickly and recommend actionable solutions.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle last-minute changes or requests.
