  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our dynamic finance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing, account reconciliation, and financial data entry. Your expertise will support our commitment to financial integrity and operational excellence. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong foundation in accounting software and financial concepts, this opportunity is perfect for you to make a meaningful impact. Experience not needed but attention to detail and good work ethic a must. Duties Prepare, review, and send accurate invoices using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Workday Manage billing adjustments, credits, and collections to optimize cash flow Maintain detailed records of billing transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams including payroll management systems like ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, Ceridian, and Paychex for seamless data integration Conduct data entry with precision using 10 key typing skills and double-entry bookkeeping techniques Qualifications Proven experience in corporate or governmental accounting with a focus on billing or accounts receivable Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms Strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, general ledger reconciliation, and journal entries Excellent math skills coupled with attention to detail for accurate data entry and account analysis Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently Join us in delivering exceptional financial services through meticulous billing processes!
