No Job Summary:
Responsible for revenue cycle billing compliance for governmental payers. Works with revenue producing departments regarding billing compliance and regulatory updates. Serves as the central point person for government payor claim recovery activities for the hospitals. This position is responsible for monitoring and tracking outcomes involving Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) requests and other government payor audits. Coordinates timely and accurate release of information, and follows up with departments related to appeals and associated deadlines. This position is responsible to communicate with all those involved in government payor audits and maintain the integrity of any monitoring tools. Other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
A minimum of 3 years of experience working within hospital or physician group revenue cycle with a focus on Medicare and Medicaid billing compliance is required. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other government regulator agency guidelines is required.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Information Systems or related field is preferred. Compensation, Benefits & Perks at Froedtert Health Pay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $22.72- $32.94. Final compensation is based on experience and will be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process.
