Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager to lead and enhance the operations of our credit and collections team in Gahanna, Ohio. This role involves managing a dynamic team, driving performance, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in credit and collections processes, along with a proven ability to analyze credit risks and make critical decisions.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the daily operations of the credit and collections team, ensuring goals and objectives are met. Develop and implement strategies to optimize collections processes and improve overall efficiency. Foster a positive team culture by motivating staff and promoting collaboration. Evaluate credit applications and make informed decisions on credit approvals. Conduct detailed credit analyses to assess financial risks and provide recommendations. Monitor key performance indicators and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with sales and finance teams to address account issues and resolve disputes. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in all credit and collections activities. Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance. Proven experience in credit and collections management, preferably in a commercial setting. Strong knowledge of credit analysis and decision-making processes. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in analyzing financial data and generating actionable insights. Solid understanding of compliance requirements related to credit and collections. Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
