This role is responsible for driving collection performance, ensuring exceptional client service, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, and developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with a proven track record in collections management, operational excellence, and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10-18 collection professionals. Conduct regular performance reviews, one-on-one coaching sessions, and team meetings. Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, and adherence to company standards. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives. Client Performance Management Own the operational performance of assigned client portfolios. Monitor collection KPIs including liquidation rates, recovery percentages, right-party contacts, promise-to-pay performance, and client-specific service level agreements (SLAs). Analyze performance trends and implement action plans to improve results. Prepare and present operational reports to internal leadership and clients. Build strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and performance reviews. Operational Excellence Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and client regulations, including
FDCPA, CFPB
requirements, and company policies. Identify process improvement opportunities that increase efficiency and maximize recoveries. Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Compliance, Workforce Management, and Training teams to improve operational performance. Manage staffing levels and scheduling to meet business and client objectives. Experience supervising ten or more direct reports. Strong knowledge of collections operations and performance metrics. Working knowledge of FDCPA and collections compliance requirements. Excellent leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills. Strong analytical and reporting abilities. Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Teams. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Ability to be dependable and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while supporting a positive culture.
