Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support accurate and timely information processing for a Contract position based in Goleta, California. This role is well suited for someone who is comfortable working with large volumes of data, maintaining consistency, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings strong typing ability, careful attention to accuracy, and confidence using computer-based data entry tools.
Responsibilities:
- Enter numeric and text-based information into company systems with a high level of speed and accuracy
- Review source documents carefully to ensure records are complete, consistent, and properly formatted before inputting data
- Update existing files and databases by correcting errors and adding new information as needed
- Verify entered information through routine quality checks and resolve discrepancies when identified
- Organize and maintain digital records so information can be retrieved efficiently by internal teams
- Follow established procedures for handling confidential or sensitive data during daily processing tasks
- Support administrative data-related activities to help keep reporting and documentation current
