Data Entry ClerkJob Summary:
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information in company databases and systems. This role supports business operations by ensuring records are complete, organized, and error-free while handling a high volume of data in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter, update, and verify data in internal databases, spreadsheets, and systemsReview source documents for accuracy and completeness before inputting informationMaintain electronic and paper records in an organized mannerIdentify and correct data entry errors or discrepanciesPerform regular data quality checks and validationRetrieve and provide information from records upon requestAssist with filing, scanning, document management, and recordkeepingGenerate basic reports and summaries as neededProtect confidential and sensitive informationSupport administrative and clerical tasks related to data managementMeet productivity and accuracy standards for assigned workloads
