What to Expect
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientedPrototype Data Collection Technician to join our data collection team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining data collection hardware. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the consistent manufacturing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of data collection equipment. Schedule available is 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Monday-Friday What You'll Do
Build, test, and iterate on hardware prototypes at a rapid pace to solve problems encountered by the end-user
Design and model parts and assemblies in SolidWorks
Fabricate and assemble prototypes using 3D printing, laser cutting, and wire harnessing
Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to ensure prototype designs translate into scalable, production-ready solutions
Identify problems early and propose solutions before they become blockers What You'll Bring
Proficiency in SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD experience with willingness to transition)
Demonstrated ability across one or more fabrication disciplines: 3D printing, soldering, wire harnessing, laser cutting, etc.
Experience with rapid hardware prototyping and short iteration cycles
Strong attention to detail - your builds are clean, consistent, and well-documented
A self-starter mindset; you see what needs to be done and take ownership without waiting to be asked
Effective communication skills for working across teams
Experience transitioning prototypes to manufacturing preferred
Background in any engineering discipline, electronics or electromechanical assemblies strongly preffered Compensation and Benefits

Expected Compensation
$25.25 - $39.10/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
