Data Entry Clerk (Banking)
Location:
Glendale, CA Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Compensation:
$20-23/hour (depending on experience) Position Overview A reputable banking organization is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk with an accounting background to support daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly accurate, organized, and comfortable working with financial data in a structured environment. Key Responsibilities Perform accurate and timely data entry of financial and banking information Review documents for completeness and ensure data accuracy and consistency Support accounting functions including reconciling records and verifying transactions Maintain and update customer and account information in internal systems Assist with processing and tracking financial documents and reports Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Communicate with internal teams regarding discrepancies or missing data Qualifications 1-3 years of data entry experience, preferably in banking or finance Basic to intermediate accounting knowledge (AP/AR, reconciliations, etc.) High level of accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management systems Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Work Environment Professional, structured banking office environment Collaborative team with a focus on accuracy and compliance Opportunity to gain valuable experience in the financial services industry All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
