Data Entry Clerk

Our client in Willimantic, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk for a contract role. As an integral team member, you will support banking operations by accurately entering and maintaining confidential data, assisting customers, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Responsibilities:

Accurately input and update customer information, financial data, and other records into the database.

Respond to incoming customer calls, providing assistance with banking inquiries such as bill payments and online banking.

Investigate and resolve customer issues, ensuring prompt follow-up for customer satisfaction.

Process documentation for customer accounts, adhering to company policies and compliance requirements.

Assist customers in setting up online banking, enrolling in e-statements, and activating debit card services.

Monitor for unauthorized electronic account activity, documenting and resolving incidents as required.

Mentor and support new team members to help them learn procedures and performance standards.

Collaborate with colleagues to identify cross-selling or referral opportunities.

Ensure strict adherence to all relevant banking laws, regulations, and internal ethical standards.

Participate in bank initiatives and sales campaigns to promote customer engagement and loyalty.
