This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with computer systems and documents, and takes pride in producing accurate work. The Data Entry Specialist will assist with entering, updating, and maintaining client and case information in our internal systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities:
Enter and update client and case information accurately into databases Review information for accuracy and completeness Maintain and organize electronic records and files Input information from legal documents, forms, correspondence, and other sources Assist with scanning, uploading, and organizing documents Perform routine administrative and clerical tasks as needed Maintain strict confidentiality of client and firm information Assist attorney and staff with other office needs
Qualifications:
Previous data entry, administrative, or office experience preferred Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel Comfortable learning new software and computer systems Ability to work independently and stay focused on repetitive tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining confidentiality Previous experience in a law office is not required
Schedule:
Part-time Approximately 15-20 hours per week Schedule will be based on the firm's needs and the candidate's availability To apply, please include a cover letter with application.
