Job Description
Description We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Tampa, Florida. This position involves working in a detail-focused office environment where accuracy and organization are key to success. The role is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills and experience in medical data systems.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and update patient medical records into electronic health systems with precision and attention to detail.
- Ensure data accuracy by reviewing and verifying information across multiple platforms.
- Utilize software such as AHLTA, McKesson, and EHR systems to manage medical data.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain consistency and integrity in data entry processes.
- Handle claim administration tasks efficiently using
IBM AS/400
systems.- Adhere to established protocols and procedures for managing sensitive healthcare information.
- Monitor data entry tasks for errors and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support administrative tasks related to medical data management as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information at all times. Requirements
- Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with software tools such as AHLTA, McKesson, and EHR systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
- Knowledge of
IBM AS/400
systems and claim administration processes.- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented office environment.
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements for handling patient data.
