Data Entry Clerk

Description We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Tampa, Florida. This position involves working in a detail-focused office environment where accuracy and organization are key to success. The role is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills and experience in medical data systems.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and update patient medical records into electronic health systems with precision and attention to detail.
• Ensure data accuracy by reviewing and verifying information across multiple platforms.
• Utilize software such as AHLTA, McKesson, and EHR systems to manage medical data.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain consistency and integrity in data entry processes.
• Handle claim administration tasks efficiently using

IBM AS/400

systems.

• Adhere to established protocols and procedures for managing sensitive healthcare information.
• Monitor data entry tasks for errors and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support administrative tasks related to medical data management as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information at all times. Requirements
• Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with software tools such as AHLTA, McKesson, and EHR systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
• Knowledge of

systems and claim administration processes.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
