The Data Entry & Customer Service Specialist is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining customer and business information while providing professional, timely support to customers. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities Enter, update, and maintain customer and company information in databases and computer systems. Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, or other communication channels. Resolve customer questions and routine issues promptly and professionally. Process orders, invoices, forms, applications, and other documentation as required. Maintain organized electronic and physical records. Verify information and correct data-entry errors. Follow up with customers regarding orders, requests, or missing information. Communicate customer concerns to the appropriate department when escalation is necessary. Protect confidential customer and company information. Meet established accuracy, productivity, and customer-service standards. Perform general administrative duties and other tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus. Previous data entry, administrative, or customer service experience preferred. Strong computer and keyboarding skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Professional, dependable, and customer-focused approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills Experience with CRM, ERP, order-management, or database systems. Accurate and efficient typing/data-entry skills.
