(GSSI) is seeking a reliable and motivated Field Technician to support traffic data collection projects across Hawaii. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on fieldwork, working outdoors, and being part of a team working on projects that directly impact Hawaii's infrastructure. This role focuses on equipment setup, basic troubleshooting, and proper documentation, with training and development opportunities available. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and remove traffic data equipment such as road tubes, sensors, and recorders. Follow all safety protocols and procedures for field setup and equipment use Load, transport, and maintain tools and materials Accurately document site visits with sketches, logs, and photos Use handheld devices or mobile apps to record and submit data Report any issues or safety concerns to the Field Supervisor or Director Keep vehicles and workspaces clean, organized, and safe Attend job-related training sessions and cross-divisional workshops Safeguard sensitive company and contract data, following internal confidentiality protocols Additional Duties Support other departments with fieldwork or logistics as needed Stay current on equipment and safety standards through ongoing training Work with technicians to maintain safe and operational company vehicles
