Join our team and become a part of this essential mission! Job Overview The Blood Bank of Hawaii is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our Collections team. This role involves entering donor information into our Blood Establishment Computer System (BECS) while following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You'll also be responsible for updating donor demographic details as required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Process Donor History Questionnaires (DHQs) for donations and deferrals. Reconcile DHQs with transport forms and inspect them for accuracy. Search for existing donors or create new records in BECS. Register donations, deferrals, and update demographic information. Verify the accuracy of entered data and resolve discrepancies. Reconcile registrations and samples for testing. File and retrieve DHQs as needed. Ensure the quality of records before imaging and confirm accuracy of imaged files before destroying originals. Run system queries and generate reports as required.Additional Duties:

Professional appearance and business demeanor. Good attendance and schedule flexibility to meet deadlines. Must be available to work evening and night shifts.
