Data Entry Clerk

Description We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position is based in Chicago, Illinois, and requires on-site work two days per week. In this role, you will support our operations by accurately inputting purchase order details into our system and ensuring data integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Enter purchase order details accurately and efficiently into the Yardi system.
• Verify and cross-check data for errors or discrepancies to maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Support the accounts payable process by ensuring data is properly recorded and organized.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve any data inconsistencies or issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
• Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Produce reports or summaries based on entered data when required.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for data entry tasks.
• Assist with additional administrative duties as needed to support the team. Requirements
• Previous experience in data entry or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Familiarity with the Yardi system is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in numeric and alphanumeric data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes is a plus.
