Job Description
Dependable Fire Equipment is hiring a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk for the summer to support our routing and dispatch team. In this role, you'll enter incoming work orders into our internal software system (Ember) so our dispatchers can schedule and route field technicians efficiently. This is a great entry-level opportunity for a reliable, computer-literate individual looking for steady summer work with a local, established company. What You'll Do Enter work order details accurately into our Ember software system Organize and prioritize entries to keep the routing department running smoothly Communicate with the dispatch team to resolve questions on work orders Maintain confidentiality and accuracy across all records What We're Looking For Computer literate and comfortable learning new software (we'll train you on Ember) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Fast, reliable typing and data entry skills Able to work independently and stay organized Dependable and punctual High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled) Nice to Have Previous data entry or office experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Why Work With Us Local Waukegan employer with a supportive team Hands-on training provided Flexible part-time summer schedule To apply, submit your application through Indeed.
