Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Temporary Seasonal Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a vital part of our operations, you will handle large volumes of data entry tasks, support database updates, and assist with administrative functions using a variety of productivity software. Your technical proficiency and organizational skills will help maintain seamless data flow and support overall business operations during the busy season. Responsibilities Enter data accurately into various database systems, including ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and specialized data management platforms Update and maintain records within spreadsheets, ensuring consistency and completeness Process order entries and transcribe information with precision using word processing and transcription tools Handle confidential information responsibly, adhering to privacy policies and security protocols Utilize Microsoft Office applications such as Excel for data analysis, creating reports, and managing spreadsheets Support data collection efforts by organizing and verifying incoming information from multiple sources Perform basic math calculations to validate data entries and ensure accuracy in numerical records Experience Prior experience in data entry or office administration is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Demonstrated proficiency with computer skills, including typing at 10 key speed or higher, word processing, and productivity software such as Excel and Word Familiarity with database systems and ERP software is advantageous Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry and analysis Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and supporting customer service functions if needed Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information discreetly This paid seasonal position is perfect for individuals looking to sharpen their technical skills while contributing to essential business functions during a busy period.
