Job Description
Description The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for following detailed instructions and standardized procedures. This position inputs client information and payments to vendors into data software on daily basis. Key Responsibilities Input client information and payments to vendors into data software. Prepare batch controls for applications to be processed. Compute totals from batch controls. Review applications completed by intake sites to apply a status. Write incomplete letters to applicants for applications received as incomplete. Provide backup for application intake when needed. Performs other related duties as assigned from time to time. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and up to 12 months of experience required. Demonstrated ability to handle high volume workload. Good mathematical and accuracy skills. Demonstrated experience with data entry software programs. Must be able to deal sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
