Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role requires someone who excels in accuracy, organization, and efficiency while handling high volumes of information. As a Long-term Contract position, this opportunity offers stability and the potential for growth within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and update data into various systems and databases, ensuring consistent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Respond to inbound calls from customers, addressing inquiries related to bank accounts, payments, and online banking services.
- Assist customers with issues such as resetting online banking credentials, setting up e-statements, and processing check orders.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Compile and file reports related to unauthorized electronic activities on customer accounts.
- Cross-sell and refer banking products and services to customers to meet their needs and strengthen relationships.
- Maintain compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure ethical standards are upheld.
- Provide backup support to senior team members, assisting with the mentorship and training of new hires.
- Prepare correspondence and documentation to support customer resolutions and ensure smooth communication.
- Participate in bank initiatives and sales campaigns to promote services and drive engagement. Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry or a related field.
- Proficiency in numeric and computer data entry with strong typing skills.
- Familiarity with the banking industry and customer service practices.
- Ability to handle inbound customer calls and provide exceptional service.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve customer inquiries effectively.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of banking systems and online services is advantageous.
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
