Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in South Portland, Maine. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate data records and supporting administrative tasks as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to learning new systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and maintain data in various systems and spreadsheets.
- Provide administrative support to the team by assisting with documentation and organizational tasks.
- Ensure data integrity by performing regular reviews and quality checks.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and manage data reports.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Adapt to evolving project needs and learn new tools or systems as required.
- Assist in compiling and organizing information for reports and presentations.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data.
- Respond to inquiries and provide support related to data entry and administrative tasks. Requirements
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in data.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with typing and numeric data entry.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
