Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to support civil service operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and managing data within various databases and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Your technical proficiency and meticulous attention to detail will ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient government processes through precise data handling and excellent organizational skills. Duties Enter, update, and maintain data within databases, including civil service records and related systems Utilize Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, for data entry, analysis, and report generation Manage data collection efforts by accurately transcribing information into spreadsheets or database systems Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion, following all privacy protocols Perform 10-key typing tasks efficiently to support high-volume data entry requirements Organize files both electronically and physically to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping standards Support data validation processes by reviewing entries for accuracy and completeness Requirements Proven experience with data entry tasks in office or administrative environments, preferably within government or civil service settings Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management Familiarity with database systems and ERP software used in civil service operations Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated typing speed of at least 10 keys per second with high accuracy Basic math skills for verifying numerical data and performing simple calculations Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information responsibly while maintaining strict confidentiality standards Prior experience in office work involving filing, transcription, or customer service is advantageous Join our team to play a vital role in supporting civil service functions through precise data management!
