Job Title:
Data Entry Specialist Job Description This mid-level Data Entry Specialist position supports high-volume customer account setup activities within a proprietary ERP/CRM platform similar to Salesforce. You will work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment, quickly become proficient in the internal system, and operate independently with minimal oversight. The role focuses on maintaining exceptional data quality, following structured procedures, and managing large volumes of repetitive work while meeting project timelines and quality expectations. Responsibilities Input and configure new customer account data from Excel spreadsheets into the internal NOP system. Follow detailed process documentation and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in all entries. Perform data validation and spot-checking to maintain high-quality outputs and reliable records. Handle high-volume, repetitive data entry tasks while sustaining accuracy and attention to detail. Identify discrepancies in data, flag issues proactively, and escalate concerns when necessary. Maintain strict data confidentiality and adhere to non-disclosure requirements due to sensitive customer information. Work efficiently to meet project timelines, productivity goals, and quality expectations. Navigate, review, and manage data within the ERP/CRM platform to support account setup workflows. Essential Skills 3+ years of professional data entry experience. Proven experience working in ERP, CRM, or similar systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Dynamics, or ecommerce platforms. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working within structured spreadsheets. Demonstrated ability to navigate, review, and manage data efficiently in database-driven systems. Proven ability to handle high-volume, repetitive work while maintaining high accuracy. Experience working from standard operating procedures and process documentation. Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on quality and data integrity. Ability to work independently in a process-driven environment with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with account setup or customer onboarding workflows. in data validation or quality assurance processes. Familiarity with ecommerce or order management systems. Experience with order entry and related data workflows. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under a non-disclosure agreement. Work Environment This role is fully onsite with a standard schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You will work in a structured, process-driven environment using a proprietary ERP/CRM platform similar to Salesforce, alongside Microsoft Excel and other data tools. The position involves sustained focus on high-volume, repetitive tasks, requiring consistent attention to detail and adherence to documented procedures. You will operate with minimal direct oversight while collaborating as part of a broader operations and data team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
