Job Title:
Data Entry Specialist Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data within our databases. This role requires proficiency in various office software applications, particularly Excel, and a strong ability to transcribe information efficiently. The Data Entry Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring that our data is accurate and accessible for decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
Accurately enter and update data into databases and spreadsheets. Maintain organized files and records to ensure easy retrieval of information. Transcribe information from various sources into digital formats. Manage paperwork related to pre- and post-job completion activities. Issue materials required for different jobs. Prepare payroll documentation accurately and timely. Conduct regular audits of data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an administrative or data entry role is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong basic math skills for accurate data entry and verification. Familiarity with database management systems is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed. Capability to operate effectively in environments characterized by change and ambiguity, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
