Full Job Description Description:
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Records Data Entry Clerk to join our Records Department. This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate aircraft maintenance records and supporting regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong data entry skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments in a fast-paced aviation environment. Key Responsibilities Review and process aircraft maintenance records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Enter and maintain maintenance data within the company's Maintenance Tracking System. Identify discrepancies, missing information, and incomplete records, and coordinate corrective actions as necessary. Process aircraft component removals and installations, including updating time-controlled components. Scan, upload, and organize documents within the company's SharePoint system. Research and resolve unmatched or inconsistent aircraft and component data. Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments to retrieve and provide records as needed. Support records audits, inspections, and compliance initiatives. Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned by the Manager of Records.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications High School Diploma Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including data entry proficiency. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines. High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or higher. Previous experience in aviation records, document control, records management, data entry, or administrative support. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds. Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to handle both electronic and physical records. Ability to stand, bend, and reach to retrieve and maintain files or access records storage areas.
