Description We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to support invoice processing operations in Fargo, North Dakota. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly accurate, comfortable working independently in a back-office setting, and confident spending most of the day on a computer. The person in this role will help maintain clean, reliable records by reviewing invoice details, confirming accuracy, and entering information efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Examine incoming invoices carefully and confirm that details are complete, accurate, and ready for entry.
Input invoice information into company systems with a strong focus on speed, precision, and consistency.
Compare source documents against entered records to identify and correct discrepancies before submission.
Manage a high volume of numeric and text-based data while meeting daily productivity expectations.
Organize and maintain digital records to support efficient back-office operations and accurate documentation.
Communicate with team members in person and through Microsoft Teams to clarify information and resolve data questions.
Monitor assigned tasks closely and follow established procedures to keep invoice processing on schedule. Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in data entry or a closely related administrative support role.
Demonstrated ability to enter high volumes of data accurately, including numeric information.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and errors quickly.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive computer-based tasks.
Effective communication skills for collaborating both in person and through Microsoft Teams.
Ability to work independently in a back-office setting while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
