JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for accurately inputting and updating information into computer systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and organization. Works with various data sources, both digital and physical, and may also perform general administrative tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Primary Responsibilities:
Accurate and timely data entry into computer systems that includes but Is not limited to: o Family demographics o Health information including physicals, dental, screenings, immunizations, and child development process. o Emergency contacts and consents o Educational information including developmental assessments and child development plans o Volunteer information o Individual family partnership agreements o Attendance information and meals o Activity and service delivery tracking Compiles reports for administrative and center level staff. Works closely with staff to obtain missing or incomplete information Works with staff and parents in developing community projects. Recognizes and acts as a resource for parents and community volunteers. Assist in obtaining information for children with suspected disabilities. Attend agency and community meetings, workshops, training, and National Accreditation Commission and National Head Start Association, (NACS) Programs.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Must present a professional image in conduct, attitude, and attire. Satisfactory completion of mandatory trainings. Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Associates degree in Information Technology CAO of WNY, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. Three (3) years' experience in data entry OR High school diploma or GED equivalent Five (5) years' experience in data entry Previous experience in community work or Head Start/Early Head Start preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Must always maintain confidentiality. Active listening, writing, and verbal communication skills. Possess good organizational skills. Must prove ability to enter data in an accurate and timely manner by passing an entry-level computer test at the time of application. Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite Physical Demands:
Frequently required to sit. Must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise. Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
