Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in East Syracuse, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in organizing and digitizing physical records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management. This position offers a flexible part-time schedule with potential for increased hours and permanent employment based on performance and interest.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and categorize physical files to streamline record-keeping processes.
• Input data from paper documents into the system with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain and update electronic records to ensure information is current and accessible.
• Perform general administrative tasks, such as photocopying and filing, to support office operations.
• Box and store overflowing files to create a more efficient workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement organizational improvements.
• Learn and utilize company-specific software for data management (training provided).
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information during data handling.
• Adapt to additional administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
