Data Entry Specialist I Location:
Suffern, NY 10901

Day Shift Hours:
8:30 AM - 4:30 PM | Monday-Friday | 37.5 Hours/Week We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist I to support healthcare administrative operations by ensuring accurate data entry, documentation management, and record integrity within a clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Review source documents and accurately enter data into designated systems and databases Collect, compile, sort, and verify data for accuracy and completeness before entry Identify and correct data entry errors or report discrepancies to supervisors Scan, upload, and file documents as required Maintain logs of completed work and data entry activities Organize, distribute, and file completed documents appropriately Assist with routine office duties including answering phones and maintaining supplies Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards Support data integrity and quality assurance processes Perform other related administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required 0-1 year of data entry experience required Typing speed of at least 45 WPM required Strong attention to detail and accuracy required Good communication and organizational skills required Ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks efficiently required Knowledge of healthcare environments, medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and medical records preferred For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
