Job Description
Required Education:
- High School or equivalent
Preferred Education:
- Associate's degree
Required Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to communicate with vendors and staff
- Ability to search internal databases for contract itemsThis position involves administrative and procurement support tasks including processing purchase requests, maintaining records, and assisting with vendor and internal communications.
Job Duties:
- Print, code, and log incoming purchase requests
- File documents
- Process purchase requests for Grainger and Staples
- Search internal state database for on-contract items
- Communicate with vendors and staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
