Service Officer II#26-18870 $12.43-$16.31 per hour Toronto, ON, Canada Hybrid Job Description Our client, a Banking company, is looking for a Service Officer II for their Toronto, ON/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners. Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered. Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors. Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors. Maintain logs of activities and completed work. Manage daily email communications while processing non-financial transactions involving highly sensitive client information. Accurately review forms and input critical data across multiple systems, ensuring precision and compliance. Consistently meet service level agreements (SLAs) within 24-48 hours. The main function of a Service Officer is to operate data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data. A typical Service Officer is responsible for accurate information documentation and personal project management.
Requirements:
Financial/banking background, quick learner, takes initiative, attention to detail, accuracy, professional background, problem solving skills, strong comm skills (very imp). 2-4 years financial or banking experience Proficiency in Microsoft 365- Excel, Word and Outlook Strong communication skills Quick learner High accuracy and attention to detail Problem solving skills Excel- Macros Technical skills include documentation skills and time management. Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage ones time. Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. ious experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Completion of a speed and accuracy data entry test (May be required). High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years related experience required. 2-4 years of banking or financial institute experience. 4 years Proficiency in Microsoft 365- Excel, Outlook, Word 4 years Strong communication skills Ability to pay high attention to details Adaptable, quick learner Excel Macros 2 years Strong problem solving skills
