As a File Processor , your role impacts every aspect of our relationships with our clients. This position exists to ensure we provide exemplary client satisfaction by ensuring consistent and accurate file processing. You will use a variety of tools (many noted below) and will often need to exercise creativity in using those tools. Additionally, you will troubleshoot issues and will become an expert in fixing them. You will become a go-to resource and collaborate with team members to make the Mission and Vision of our organization a reality within the framework of our corporate Values. This position is full-time, located onsite at our Springfield, Oregon office. A day in the life of a
Professional Credit File Processor:
Receive, analyze, and process files submitted by our clients. Ensure that each file meets our business requirements and matches specifications for programmed file loads. Review for accuracy and then stage all inbound files from clients. This will include new business, payment/transaction, recall, inventory, and other files. Review, compile, and process daily files involved with facilitating our letter and email campaigns with our print and mail vendors Perform reconciliations and audits after new and updated file processes are implemented. Constantly look for ways to responsibly automate. Provide support to Operations for the auditing of other business processes to ensure items are processed timely and accurately. Use our proprietary ETL tool, RoboDX™, to process data into and out of our data warehouses. Troubleshoot existing jobs as needed. Validating data and files in our Collections AR platform, ARTrail™. Troubleshoot data issues using MySQL (via HeidiSQL). Creatively use available tools and skills to analyze and solve data challenges. Manage a wide array of data (from various sources and locations). Create or update documentation regarding instructions detailing file mapping, special client processes, all jobs, scripts, issue resolutions, and processes. Other tasks, projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements/Preferences:
Associate's degree preferred in Computer Science, Math, or similar. Solid Excel skills (e.g. formulas, Pivot Tables, etc.). Directs own work, self-starts on additional tasks and business needs. Demonstrates strong capacity for accuracy, speed, and flexibility. Experience with MySQL, XML, and Relational Databases.
