Logistics Philadelphia, PA Full-Time Part-Time February 24, 2026 ‍ Professional Analysis, Inc. (PAI) is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist in support of The Property ManagementDivision (Code 107) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) located in Philadelphia, PA. The Data Entry Specialist will provide Navy ERP data entry and technical screening support for Purchase Requisitions (PRs) at NSWC Philadelphia, managing the full lifecycle of procurement requests in accordancewith
OM&S, GE
processes, and Department of the Navy regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong data entryskills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience working in structured, process-driven environments. This individual must be capable of managinghigh-volume requisition processing and understand the importance of accuracywhen creating and submitting purchase requisitions. ‍
Key Responsibilities Create Purchase Requisitions:
Utilize Navy ERP/SAP to generate, review, and assign Purchase Requisition (PR) numbers for materials, supplies, and services supporting various departments.
Data Entry & Validation:
Accurately enter requisition details including part numbers, material descriptions, quantities, funding information, and required delivery dates. Ensure completeness and accuracy prior to submission.
System Monitoring & Updates:
Track requisitions through workflow approval stages and update statuses as needed to reflect current approvals or changes.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with procurement, inventory management, finance, and program personnel to ensure requisitions are processed efficiently and in accordance with established procedures.
Compliance & Accuracy:
Ensure all requisitions comply with company policies, Navy ERP procedures, and Department of the Navy financial and procurement regulations.
Documentation Management:
Maintain organized electronic records of requisition packages and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness and ease of retrieval.
Issue Resolution:
Identify discrepancies or errors within requisitions and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
Reporting & Metrics Support:
Assist in generating reports related to procurement activity, requisition status, funding tracking, and inventory management. ‍ Required Skills & Qualification One (1) year of searching for, interpreting, and/or selecting data from a variety of source documents. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. High school diploma or equivalent required Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Preferred Skills(not required) Previous experience supporting purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations is a plus. Basic knowledge of procurement terminology, procedures, and purchase requisition processes. Demonstratedstrong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry anddocument management. Excellentorganizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to obtain and maintain access to Navy ERP systems (CAC access may be required). ‍
