Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist (Remote) for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting administrative, document management, and billing-related office processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys accurate data entry, electronic file organization, and structured administrative work in a fast-paced remote team environment. The Data Entry Specialist will provide vital support to office staff by reviewing documents, entering information into internal databases, verifying numbers for accuracy, distributing records, and helping maintain organized electronic files. While this position supports billing-related documentation, it does not perform billing duties directly. - Prepare, review, upload, download, and organize high volumes of electronic documents and files while ensuring accuracy and file integrity.
- Enter data into internal databases, verify information, and check documents for typographical or numerical errors.
- Support administrative processes related to Joint Pole Authorization Forms, billing-related documentation, file distribution, and record management.
- Provide general administrative support to biller staff and office team members, including email, phone inquiries, and task coordination.
- Transcribe staff meeting minutes, maintain documentation, resolve administrative issues, and follow detailed internal procedures.
- Collaborate with team members through Microsoft Teams and other tools to support timely, accurate, and efficient office operations. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $24 per hour while temporary.
- Pay rate upon hire: $25 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. No overtime.- Training schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
- After training, schedule may change to Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
- Remote work hours if hired: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Training and probationary period: Approximately three to seven months, depending on the candidate's ability to learn the tasks.
- Working interview: In person in San Dimas, CA or Brea, CA.
- Remote role after hire, with required in-person equipment pickup in San Dimas or Brea.
- In-person visits to San Dimas or Brea may be required for training, equipment exchanges, and business-related needs.
- Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of San Dimas, CA, within approximately a 30-mile radius.
- Upon permanent hire, employees are required to attend an in-person quarterly team-building event in San Dimas or a nearby location.
- Upon permanent hire, primary residence must be maintained within Southern California.
- Benefits upon full-time permanent employment include medical and dental insurance, with employer covering the monthly premium and employee contributing $20 per month.
