Position Summary The Enterprise Data Collection (EDC) Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, reliable, and consistent fleet reporting for our customers. This role supports device connectivity, troubleshooting reporting issues, and helping customers understand and trust their data. This position is ideal for someone who is self‑sufficient, highly adaptable, and technology‑savvy , with strong attention to detail and comfort working independently within established processes. The EDC Specialist partners closely with internal teams and customers to support smooth onboarding, documentation, and day‑to‑day reporting needs. This is a hybrid position based out of Mesa, AZ . Essential Functions & Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate fleet reporting for assigned customer accounts Lead onboarding calls for new and existing customers Monitor device connectivity and resolve basic to moderate reporting issues Perform structured troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve common data collection problems Document customer interactions, reporting trends, and resolutions in internal systems Identify recurring issues and escalate patterns or concerns to senior team members Provide clear guidance to customers on reporting behavior, device status, and best practices Assist with onboarding for standard customer environments Collaborate with Sales, CRMs, and cross‑functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience Follow established workflows while contributing feedback for process improvement Escalate complex or persistent issues appropriately to senior or cross‑functional teams What Success Looks Like in This Role You work independently and confidently , managing your workload with minimal direction You're comfortable navigating multiple systems and learning new tools quickly You approach troubleshooting logically and consistently follow issues through to resolution You adapt easily to changing priorities, customers, and environments You communicate clearly and professionally with both customers and internal teams
Qualifications & Experience Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Prior experience in customer support, service, or operations Experience with basic troubleshooting and structured problem‑solving Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail with the ability to manage a steady workload Ability to work independently within defined processes and see issues through resolution Strong technology aptitude , including comfort with data, systems, and reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting customer accounts with multiple locations or moderate complexity Strong Excel skills (comfortable working with data, reports, and spreadsheets) 1+ year of customer service or call center experience Proven ability to work autonomously in a hybrid environment Experience with internal systems such as Printanista, E‑Automate, ServiceNow , or similar platforms Interest in growing troubleshooting expertise and taking on more advanced responsibilities Why FlexTG At FlexTG, you'll join a team that values ownership, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
