Hiller Measurements is a growing, dynamic, high-tech organization in Dripping Springs/Austin area. Inspired measurement design is what we're about. It's a value wrought from decades of component, instrument, and system design experience. We've tested gaming systems, simulated atmospheric effects of satellite communications, designed unique parts of our nation's radar systems, and designed test systems for the most exciting electronic vehicles on the road. From our headquarters in the Hill Country southwest of Austin, Texas, we operate on a lean and flexible basis allowing us to adapt to our client's design needs, budget, and schedule. Position Summary As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining data related to contracts, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the project. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the Program Manager and other team members to ensure timely and accurate data entry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Data Entry:
Accurately enter and update data related to contracts into project management software (Epicor), spreadsheets, databases, and other relevant systems. This may include contract details, vendor information, financial data, project milestones, and other pertinent information.
Quality Assurance:
Review and verify the accuracy of entered data to ensure compliance with contract requirements and project guidelines. Identify and promptly correct any errors or discrepancies.
Document Management:
Organize and maintain project-related documentation, both physical and electronic, ensuring proper filing and version control. Assist in the creation and maintenance of contract files, including archiving and retrieval as necessary.
Coordination:
Collaborate closely with the Program Manager and team members to gather and update relevant information, ensuring the timely completion of assigned tasks. Communicate effectively to address any data-related issues or discrepancies.
Reporting:
Generate reports and assist in preparing presentations, as required by the Program Manager. Extract and compile data from various sources to support project analysis and decision-making processes.
Compliance:
Adhere to contract regulations, security protocols, and confidentiality requirements when handling sensitive information. Ensure data entry and management practices align with project-specific guidelines and industry best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline data entry processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve overall efficiency. Make recommendations for system improvements or automation, contributing to the optimization of project management operations.
Requirements:
Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or related fields is a plus. Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role, preferably in a project management or aerospace environment. Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (REQUIRED). Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident (due to company contracts falling under the ITAR). Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
