Responsibilities for a Data Entry Clerk include but are not limited to:- Accurately enter and update high volumes of data usingplex data entry systems
- Perform 10-key data entry by touch while maintaining speed and accuracy
- Review, interpret, and verify data forpleteness and accuracy
- Meet strict productivity, quality, and deadline requirements in a fast-paced environment Candidates for Data Entry Clerk must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
- 10-key by touch experience
- 1-3 years of data entry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and accuracy
- Ability to read, write, interpret, and speak English fluently
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Skype for Business
- Strong written and verbalmunication skills
- Ability to work independently, followplex instructions, and meet deadlines
- Immaculate attendance record Preferred Skills /
Experience:
- Typing speed of 40-50 WPM
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology
- General knowledge of
CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10
coding, and modifier usage- Experience with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
- Understanding of HIPAA guidelines
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and self-learn based on client instructions What's in this Data Entry Clerk position for you?
