Gift Processing & Data Entry Coordinator Diocese of Tyler - 4.5 Tyler, TX Job Details Part-time $18 - $23 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication Blackboard Raiser's Edge Filing Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Data entry Associate's degree Time management Full Job Description Job Overview The Gift Processing & Data Management Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the mission of the Diocese of Tyler through the accurate processing of charitable contributions and maintenance of donor information. This position is responsible for managing gift entry, maintaining donor database integrity, generating donor acknowledgments, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of donor records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision. This role is best suited for an individual who enjoys structured work, takes ownership of responsibilities, works independently, and is committed to producing accurate, high-quality results. Education & Experience High school diploma required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred Previous experience in data entry, bookkeeping, administrative support, or donor database management preferred Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT strongly preferred Familiarity with GiveCentral or other online giving platforms preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through on assignments Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Professional communication and customer service skills High degree of discretion and confidentiality Dependable, accountable, and results-oriented Prepare routine reports for the Development and Accounting offices Coordinate with parish staff and diocesan departments regarding gift processing questions Assist with filing, scanning, and administrative support as needed Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred Essential Functions and Responsibilities Process charitable contributions, pledges, recurring gifts, and donor transactions accurately and timely Maintain and update donor records within Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT Generate donor acknowledgment letters, tax receipts, and stewardship communications Prepare routine reports related to donations, appeals, campaigns, and donor activity Ensure data integrity through ongoing review of donor records, duplicate records, and constituent information Monitor gift processing workflows and resolve discrepancies promptly Maintain accurate electronic and physical records in accordance with diocesan policies Perform ongoing database maintenance and quality control Process address updates, constituent changes, deceased records, and household record updates Assist with data imports, exports, and list generation Support donor segmentation and reporting needs for fundraising initiatives Maintain consistency and accuracy across donor records and reporting systems Development support Support annual appeals, stewardship initiatives, and fundraising campaigns through accurate recordkeeping and reporting Coordinate with parish staff, donors, and diocesan departments regarding gift processing and donor record inquiries Provide timely and professional assistance while maintaining donor confidentiality Supports and conducts work in a manner consistent with the mission, teachings, and values of the Catholic Church Work Schedule Part-time position Approximately 20-25 hours per week Flexible weekday schedule within normal diocesan office hours Compensation Hourly compensation commensurate with experience No benefits or limited benefits depending on Diocesan policy
