Schedule:
40 hours/week (Flexible•5x8s or 4x10s) We are hiring a detail-oriented Data Collection Technician to support a Mechanical Integrity (MI) program through field-based asset verification and data entry. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial environments, asset tracking, and technical documentation. AD & D Insurance Key Responsibilities:
Perform field data collection and asset verification, ensuring accuracy of equipment information. Read and interpret P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) to locate piping and assets within the MI program. Document asset conditions, including accessibility, insulation presence, and inspection port requirements. Highlight and organize P&IDs, then scan, upload, and maintain accurate digital records. Cross-reference equipment data between P&IDs and SAP systems, identifying and documenting discrepancies. Assist Mechanical Integrity Technicians with data entry, reporting, and system updates.
Requirements:
Experience with Excel and spreadsheet tools for data tracking and reporting. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams (P&IDs preferred). Comfortable performing physical tasks including bending, climbing ladders, and working in field environments. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial setting.
