Job Summary and Qualifications As the Onsite Patient Collections Specialist, you are responsible for assisting in verifying insurance co-pays, payment posting for patient's accounts, counseling patients on insurance benefits and co-payments. The Onsite Patient Collections Specialist position has the possibility to work 1 of 3 shifts at a local hospital. What you will do in this role: Verify patient insurance Post payments to patient account Arrange for repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situations Submit money collected at the end of each shift. Data entry (knowledge of Excel spreadsheets) and scanning documents.
