full-time We are recruiting for a Insurance Verification Specialist for our client in Irvine. Our client is medical treatment provider. The appropriate candidate should have experience interacting directly with insurance carriers, third party administrators, etc., while seeking authorization for treatment, and navigating potential billing issues. This role should have excellent work/life balance! Insurance Verification Specialist (Irvine - On Site): Must have experience working with insurance carriers to obtain medical pre-authorizations Must have excellent communication skills Should have experience submitting authorization requests, including Requests for Authorization (RFAs) Should have experience reviewing authorization approvals to confirm approved dates, units, frequency, level of care, and services Should have experience monitoring authorization expiration dates and remaining approved units to prevent authorization gaps Should have experience managing authorization changes when clients transition between levels of care Salary likely $70-$80k + benefits, PTO, etc This company has been around a long time, has an excellent reputation in the community, and is growing quickly.
