Job Description

Medical Credentialing & Provider Enrollment Specialist Schedule:
Full-Time, On-Site (Monday-Friday) A large, established medical practice in Gainesville is seeking an experienced Medical Credentialing & Provider Enrollment Specialist to join our team immediately. This position is responsible for credentialing and enrolling physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) with hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and third-party payors. The role also supports provider onboarding, benefits administration, PTO tracking, and professional allowance management. Responsibilities Manage provider credentialing and enrollment with hospitals, ASCs, and insurance payors Maintain CAQH profiles and track credentialing requirements, renewals, and expiration dates Coordinate with the practice's billing company on provider enrollment applications Assist with onboarding new physicians, CRNAs, and staff Administer benefits enrollment and maintain related records Work with external vendors, including insurance, retirement, malpractice, and payroll providers Qualifications 3-5 years of healthcare credentialing and enrollment experience required Experience in a medical practice, hospital, or healthcare billing environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Experience with payroll systems and QuickBooks is a plus Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Benefits 401(k) paid by employer (not just a match) Health insurance- Individual coverage paid by employer Dental insurance- Individual coverage paid by employer 3 weeks of Paid time off 6 Paid holidays Excellent quality physicians/ congenial staff If you are a highly organized healthcare professional with credentialing experience and a commitment to accuracy and service, we encourage you to apply.
