Job Description

Position Details:
Coordinate outreach and follow-up services for children and families Assist with Medicaid billing, claims processing, and insurance navigation Conduct Hawk-i enrollment and re-enrollment activities Connect families with community resources and healthcare services Provide support through phone calls, written communication, and care coordination Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community partners Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality standards are met
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required One to three years of experience in Medicaid billing, healthcare, human services, or a related field preferred Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills Ability to build positive relationships with families and community partners Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel as needed UDMO is seeking a compassionate and organized Support Specialist to join our Child and Adolescent Health team. In this rewarding role, you'll help families overcome barriers to healthcare by connecting them to community resources, assisting with oral health care coordination, navigating Medicaid and Hawk-i programs, and supporting children in accessing the services they need to thrive.
