Details The University of Iowa Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is looking for a temporary 100% Clinic Services Specialist at our Davenport Clinic. Under the general supervision of the Clinic Services Manager, a Clinic Services Specialist schedules patient appointments in the Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic. This is an hourly, non-benefited position lasting through January.

It will start part time and go to full time in October.
Position Responsibilities:
Greeting patients and visitors as they arrive Encountering patients for appointments using the Epic Cadence model system Gathering insurance information Scheduling appointments in the Epic Cadence model system Answer incoming phone calls, triage as necessary. Make outgoing phone calls.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 6 months•1 year administrative experience Patient centered and a patient advocate Proficiency in computer spreadsheet and database applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills Job related experience with and/or commitment to customer service excellence
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience scheduling in an outpatient clinic setting Experience with the Epic system
Knowledge of Obstetrics and Gynecology Hours:
Between8:00 AM•5:00 PM Monday•
Friday Location:
Davenport, IA Pay:
