Responsibilities include:
Verifying program eligibility and function in clinic flow by initiating client visits. Assisting with WIC applications, benefit troubleshooting, client scheduling and WIC card issuance. Previous electronic medical records (EMR) experience is highly desirable
Requirements:
High school diploma, or GED equivalent, One (1) year of experience in a customer service environment Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Must have excellent phone etiquette, customer service, data entry, organizational, and communication skills Bilingual Spanish and/or French highly desirable CUPHD provides a comprehensive benefits package which includes: CUPHD offers qualified bilingual employees an additional $3.00 per hour, upon approval. o Eligible employees may complete language proficiency testing upon hire and can begin receiving the stipend as soon as they are approved. Health, dental, and vision insurance with enrollment beginning on the employee's first day of employment 14 paid holidays per year 12 sick days earned per year 15 days of paid time off earned in the first year of employment Short-term and long-term disability benefits Comprehensive pension plan offered through Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) The expected annual starting salary is $32,592 ($16.71 per hour).
